This great light of hope is like a door and has been open to us for over 2,000 years.
Greetings to all my dear friends. I always pray for you.
I know I haven’t talked about this much before, but today I wanted to write a little more about Jesus and Easter.
I have to say that Jesus managed to walk here for the last time. But what most people don’t realize is that Jesus has been here many times and every time we have destroyed him because he spoke of love, kindness, forgiveness and peace. Everything we want but can’t go to a store and buy.
And this message that Jesus gave continues to go around the world in every way.
Imagine if Jesus came back now and stood there somewhere and talked about loving your brother and saying no to war and being kind. They showed that world leaders would be terrified of him.
They would immediately say that he is a terrorist, for the simple reason that the ordinary person – and I would say the peasant, that’s you and me – would stop and listen.
And you know, I want Jesus to come back again right now. But I have to ask, should we go kill him again?
When you read about the crucifixion and resurrection, try to read between the lines. Try to see what didn’t make it, what got lost in translation. And you, the common man of the world, have to discover this, to help you wake up and open up spiritually, to let this light in and let it shine, to see and realize that it all comes back to love, compassion, understanding, peace, empathy. All those gifts that you can’t buy and that you’re all looking for, every human being.
I’ll just tell you a little bit now. Many of us think of the crucifixion when we think of Easter, but the other part is what we actually forget. And this is the resurrection, the resurrection.
Resurrection is the light of hope. It is empathy, hope, love, new beginnings for all humanity.
It is about starting to take steps to move forward, to embrace each other with compassion and love, to grow as God wants us to grow. This is the beginning of giving hope to all of humanity, even hope to our planet, to all of nature, literally everything. This is what the resurrection is about.
Easter is, in a sense, when the light of hope comes through the heavens, when the light of hope lights up in our souls, the spark of God’s light within us. And yet, as humans, we tend to extinguish this light.
But we always look for hope in so many places, and now I would like to ask, have you ever thought about hope differently?
Have you reached into yourself, into your soul?
Have you allowed your soul to shine through you so that all who see can see it shine? They would see the light of hope in you, just as you see the light of hope in them.
Our world needs hope now, and our world needs love, and that’s what Easter is about. To see the light of hope.
This great light of hope is like a door, and it has opened before us. It has been open to us for over 2,000 years, and we just need to step a little closer, and even steps into this light of hope.
Because the light of hope shows us the love we can become.
You are not just a human being, but a spiritual being, but not an ordinary spiritual being in that sense. Because you have a soul, a spark of God’s light, and you can do the impossible.
This life we live is just the beginning. The beginning of incredible things, incredible things full of hope, full of light and full of love.
Love and Blessings to you all,
Lorna
