This energy can manifest itself in two ways, as it often does. On the one hand, there is a tendency to overextend yourself and your resources, driven by over-optimism without proper prior planning or conscious effort. Relying solely on luck in this way can pay serious dividends, both metaphorically and literally. A more constructive approach involves weighing today’s actions or choices in light of future benefits. Use your foresight to envision your ultimate goals and define the steps you need to take to achieve them. Focus on the potential, not the current reality. Increased energy and a desire to push the boundaries can be beneficial, but caution is needed to avoid overdoing it and defeating the purpose. Calculated risks are acceptable, but impulsive reactions are not advisable. This energy also works on an extreme scale – when things are good, they are very good, but when they are bad, they are terrible. Maintain a positive mindset, stay focused, and balance mental, emotional, and physical effort with necessary but not excessive performance.

Although the revelations may exceed your expectations, trust the wisdom of the Universe’s timing. Stay focused and guided by your inner compass, ignoring the external judgments or opinions of others. Be aware of any temptation to focus on one thing or try to convince others to accept your point of view, as this is a waste of valuable time, energy and resources. Instead, prioritize your own personal growth and individual direction, trusting that your journey will naturally inspire and enlighten those who tune into your wavelength. This is a personal transformation of your thinking or creative ideas when you realize that something needs to change or end and you may have to make a choice or decision.

5/5 • Beltane • Quarter of the Cross • Taurus Gate of Power:
This is an infinitely powerful time ~ this is an ‘in-between’ place also known as the *Sweet Spot* – this very thin membrane between the *Seed and New Life… between the Spring Equinox (seed) and the Summer Solstice (new life). It reminds us of the beauty and nourishment that Mother Earth has always provided, not just for humans, but for all life on the planet. It’s time to tune in, harmonize and synchronize your rhythm with the rhythm of nature. In the same way that we call upon the Unseen Help and Ancestors at Samhain at the Nov. Scorpio Gate of Power, we can now call upon the Elementals, Nature Spirits, Devas, and Plant Kingdoms for conscious cooperation, honoring their teachings and the sacrifices they have made to help, nurture, and support life on this planet in ways that humans are not always capable of. Beltane marks the start of summer, life bursts forth, the initial work is done, and it’s time to celebrate fertility, abundance, and our relationship with the Mother. It’s time to celebrate all that you’ve created and contributed to while consciously preserving *Life* along the way. Ritual, dance, drumming, toning and/or chanting are always used in celebration of the Earth and Her grace, as is wearing or surrounding yourself with green: the color of Life ~ Love ~ and the Heart Chakra.
5/6 • Pluto Retro in AQUARIUS (until October 15):
Pluto in Aquarius 2023-2044 – This is a collective planet that moves in an irregular orb and spends 10-35 years in one sign. From the 1980s, when Pluto was in home Scorpio, it was on the shorter end and spent about 10-12 years there, exploring the underworld of sex, death, power, money and resources. Plenty of “power behind the power” in the decade that unfolded. Then he moved in Sagittarius for 13 years in the 1990s, exposing all the erosion and poisoning of the Vatican, and organized religion went through a complete upheaval. Then Pluto began to extend its stay from there, spending 16 years in Capricorn from 2008 to 2024, where we witnessed the collapse of institutions, government, healthcare, education, and most social systems that now need to be reimagined and reborn. In Capricorn, we saw the price of surrendering our power and inner authority to external structures or systems. So now, heading into 20-year Aquarius, the process of purification and transformation shifts to humanity, technology, and the future.
It’s a mixed blessing, as with all alignments, there are a Expression of light and shadow. The blessing of Pluto transiting Aquarius is the mass awakening of humanity on some level. The old ways don’t work anymore and where we were stuck in *survival mode* we now have to deal with the future of the next 7 generations. Our decisions directly affect them, and power is shifting from the old-school, controlling patriarchy—the few who want to pool resources and control the many…—to the new-school, progressive, future-oriented Aquarius, which wants more community, collaboration, and equal distribution of resources to those who need it most. We can be super resourceful and creative when switching big cycles like this.
Do you feel it? in 2020 Jupiter and Saturn started a new 20-year cycle in Aquarius and a 200-year cycle in the Air Element. In 2022, Venus and Mars initiated a new 2-year cycle in Aquarius, bringing the integration of the Sacred Feminine and Masculine, which is now more progressive and collaborative. Now Pluto moves into Aquarius, starting its 250-year cycle. It feels like an earthly entry into the 2,500-year Age of Aquarius. At the very least, Pluto’s ingress seals a complete transformation and rebirth in our own Aquarian divisions as individuals. But remember, this is a low and slow cook that Pluto will be doing for the next 20 years. As with any healing or transformation, first we must cleanse, then we can heal, then we can restore, then we can strengthen, then we can protect – it’s a PROCESS.
With all this in mind, Pluto will be retrograde for 5 months each year for the next 20 years, giving us the opportunity to do this ‘process’ in steps and stages – not all at once (thank God!). Pluto is the planet of death, rebirth and transformation. So when you go Retrograde, be prepared to allow a part of your life to “die” and transform again. There is a part of your Self that is connected to your deepest desires. However, in order to manifest, you need to remove some debris from your life now. And Pluto is here to help you achieve that ultimate goal. Ready or not, it’s time to move on to the next level. The more you resist it, the harder it gets. It may seem sudden, but whatever is leaving your life has been on the way out for the past couple of years, whether you were consciously aware of it or not. If you have a deep, dark secret or part of yourself that you’ve been avoiding or suppressing, be prepared to deal with it once and for all. And be prepared for the later consequences that will pop up and show up – both for you and those closest to you.
One of the advantages is Retrograde Pluto Whatever it is that you deeply desire, it is asking for your help deep inside, and now you can truly hear it, so you can begin to identify or define what it is that you truly desire to express in your life. Well, being fully committed to what you want isn’t as hard as it used to be. When you are aware enough to know that it is time for your Truth and Purpose to emerge, you can finally access the military discipline necessary to truly focus and execute!
